Many times, getting a volume of the desired size meant waiting for hours for the backup operations to finish, looking at how the limits of the volumes and how the images were being written. Now you can perform these operations in just a few minutes. Previously, changing the size of the Boot Camp partitions meant a long, entertaining and heavy procedure. Probably, the space needed it will be located in an adjacent partition that contains another operating system and will have no choice but to change the size of both volumes to add some free space to one of them. In the Bootcamp Assistant, select Continue and wait for the loading to finish. Now, in the Search Assistant (top-right), type Bootcamp Assistant and open the first search result entry. Normally it would restore as the same size as the original but WinClone does let you expand during the restore. Next, select the 64-bit version of Windows 10, choose a location where you want to download the installation file, and click on Save to download it.

It is only a matter of time before one of the volumes gets too full of data and you need to free up some space on the disk. I have used WinClone to backup an existing smaller Boot Camp partition on one Mac and then restore it on a larger new Mac with a larger Boot Camp partition.
